The Art Nouveau
In the nineteenth century, almost all forms of art are inspired by the past. The imitation of Greco-Roman coexists with that of national styles. However, some artists have hoped the nineteenth century finally found a style of its own. The predominance of inspired forms of the past is the fundamental reason for the emergence of “Art Nouveau” (The New Art).
